history provost of historical revolution-- so entitled by a certain Black Amazon
I saw it this afternoon, and I ***loved*** it, especially Jennifer Hudson as Effie. Folks were clapping after her songs, and at the end of movie, some folks were standing and clapping. It was terrific. :-)
We saw it today. We did the back-to-back movie thing this afternoon. First we saw Will and child in Pursuit of Happiness and then Beyonce and the bunch in Dream Girls. I agree with you about Jennifer Hudson and the song. That was the best part of the movie, by far. I darn near teared up during that part. I'd even go as far as to say that Jennifer Hudson made the movie. She was excellent. And that's all I'll say for now... Happy New Years!
I am going to try to see it next week when the little one is back in school. She gets out at 2 so it is difficult. I missed a few already. But I have heard it is very good.
i liked it, too, and jennifer hudson was so good!
gwyn, how is the pursuit of happyness?
